Hon FlameSafe Fire-Resistant 2-Drawer Lateral Size

Rating:
UL Fire and Impact Rating C, 1 Hour Class 350 Fire with Impact, 1700 degrees for one-hour exposure and a 30-foot drop/impact test.

100% Gypsum insulation reinforced by a steel wire lattice (non-asbestos). Insulation in drawer face and between drawers protects each drawer individually. Exterior panels are replaceable. Water resistance protects from sprinklers and hoses in the event of a fire. Electrostatic powder coating. Available in Putty, Black, and Light Gray.

Hardware:

Verticals include chrome pull with thumb latch and label holder. High drawer sides on vertical files do not require hangrails to accommodate hanging file folders. 4 hangrails per opening standard on laterals. Spring-loaded follower block standard on vertical. Laterals include black plastic recessed pull which includes a 3/8″H x 3-7/8″ W area to affix a label.

Lock and Suspension:
Lock is standard, and not core removable, 2 keys are provided.

A lock bypass feature allows individual drawers to remain unlocked, while other drawers are locked. Safety Interlock: Mechanical safety interlock on 4 drawers lateral prevents opening more than one drawer at a time. Vertical file has full suspension. Lateral has telescoping suspension. Shipping Information: Ship fully assembled with a corrugated top and bottom tray with side pads, fully stretch wrapped and banded to a matched size pallet.

Compliance:
Product meets or exceeds applicable ANSI/BIFMA and ISTA Performance Standards. Certified SCS Indoor Advantage Gold. Conforms to the BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard level 2.
